1.0 : General Terms and Conditions
- The Event is known as Plunge and is produced by Acquired Taste Events LLC at Villa Coco Mar Cabarete, in the Dominican Republic. The Event begins at 3pm on February 14, 2025 and ends at 11am on February 23, 2025. All Bookings must include the core 7 nights of February 15, 2025 thru February 22, 2025.
- Plunge and Acquired Taste Events LLC reserve the right to alter or make additions to these Terms and Conditions of Booking pertaining to Covid-19 at their sole discretion and without prior notice.
- All Bookings, whether paid in full or partially, are subject to a nonrefundable $500 per room Booking Deposit at the time of booking.
- You must make your Booking directly with Acquired Taste Events and Plunge. If you make a booking or reservation thru any other source you will not have access to the Plunge Itinerary, play space, parties, events or our host resort.
- Events, parties, themes and activities are subject to change without prior notice.
- Bookings, rooms, room categories and rates are: subject to change without prior notice, subject to availability, and quantities are limited.
- In the unlikely event that a room in the room category in which you have made your Booking is unavailable, Plunge and Acquired Taste Events LLC reserves the right to substitute a room of lesser or greater value in a different room category.
- Guests who have made a Single Share Booking will share a room with another Guest of the same gender, selected by Acquired Taste Events LLC at their sole discretion.

1.5 : Covid-19
- Plunge and Acquired Taste Events LLC reserve the right to alter or make additions to these Terms and Conditions of Booking pertaining to Covid-19 at their sole discretion and without prior notice.
2.0 : Payments on Bookings
- All payments on Bookings must be paid by credit card or ACH credit (commonly called E-check)
- All funds from Booking Deposits, or any other payment are subject to our Cancellation Policy on Bookings.
- Payment Due Dates are equivalent to the payment dates you specified at the time you paid your Booking Deposit.
- If you paid in full at the time of Booking, $500 of your payment is considered a Booking Deposit at the time of booking and is nonrefundable .
- If you paid your Booking Deposit on or prior to October 31, 2024 and you selected the payment option "$500 per/room now + 1 - 6 payments later":
- All Bookings require a $500 per room Booking Deposit at the time of booking.
- Booking Deposits are nonrefundable.
- Your Total Package Price minus the amount of your Booking Deposit equals your Balance.
- Your Balance divided by the number of payments you selected equals your Payment Amount.
- Partial payments will not be accepted, each payment you make must be equal to your Payment Amount.
- Payments are due on the Payment Due Dates you specified when you paid your Booking Deposit.
- You must schedule your first Payment Due Date for a date within 60 days of the date you paid your Booking Deposit or prior to December 1, 2024, whichever comes first.
- All Payment Due Dates must be scheduled for dates prior to December 1, 2024.
- Your Balance must be paid in full prior to December 1, 2024.
- All Bookings made after October 31, 2024 must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Any payment that is more than 5 business days past due may result in your reservation being cancelled subject to our Cancellation Policy on Bookings.
3.0 : Cancellation Policy on Bookings
- You may cancel your Booking for any reason prior to November 1, 2024 and receive a partial refund. Your refund will be equal to the total amount you have paid towards your booking minus your Booking Deposit and any booking fees incurred by Acquired Taste Events and will be subject to our Refund Policy.
- If the Event is canceled or rescheduled at any time prior to the beginning of the Event, Acquired Taste Events will refund your Booking or you can roll over your Booking to a rescheduled date.
- If you choose a refund:
- Your refund amount is based on the total amount paid by you towards your Booking prior to the Event's cancellation minus the sum of all Booking Fees incurred. Booking Fees incurred reflect the processing fees retained by our credit card processing company and any other fees or losses incurred by Acquired Taste Events as a result of processing your Booking and refund, as described in our Refund Policy.
- If you choose to roll over your Booking to a rescheduled date, the roll over amount will be equal to the total amount paid by you towards your Booking prior to the Event's cancellation.
- If you choose a refund:
- Bookings that are cancelled at the guest's request or at the discretion of Acquired Taste Events before November 1, 2024 are refundable as follows:
- Payments made by credit card or ACH credit (E checks) are partially refundable. The refund amount is based on the total amount paid by a guest towards their Booking prior to their request for a refund minus their Booking Deposit and the sum of all Booking Fees incurred. Booking Fees incurred reflect the processing fees retained by our credit card processing company and any other fees or losses incurred by Acquired Taste Events as a result of processing your Booking and refund, as described in our Refund Policy.
- For example, if a guest has paid a total of $1000 towards their Booking ($500 of the $1000 paid was the nonrefundable Booking Deposit) and their Booking Fees incurred totaled $36 their final refund amount would be $464.
- Bookings that are cancelled at the guest's request or at the discretion of Acquired Taste Events on or after November 1, 2024 are nonrefundable, however a credit voucher may be issued, at the sole discretion of Acquired Taste Events.
- If Acquired Taste Events determines that a credit voucher will be issued, that voucher will be nontransferable and can be used only for events produced by Acquired Taste Events.
- If Acquired Taste Events determines that a credit voucher will be issued, that voucher will be subject to Booking Fees incurred and the nonrefundable Booking Deposit.
- For example, if a guest has paid a total of $2200 towards their Booking, they may receive a credit voucher of $1660 ($2200 - $40 in Booking Fess incurred - $500 Booking Deposit paid).
- Credit vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of issuance and can be used only for Bookings with Acquired Taste Events.
- Bookings that are cancelled after January 10, 2025 are completely nonrefundable.
- Please note that any payment that is more than 5 business days past due may result in your Booking being cancelled.
3.5 : Cancellation & Rescheduling Policies Pertaining to Excursions & Airport Transfers
- Excursion bookings may not be cancelled or rescheduled with the exception of when they are cancelled or rescheduled by Acquired Taste Events or one of our vendors.
- Excursion bookings are completely nonrefundable with the exception of when they are cancelled by Acquired Taste Events or one of our vendors.
- Airport Transfer bookings may be cancelled without penalty 24 or more hours prior to their scheduled time.
- Airport Transfer bookings may be rescheduled without penalty at any time.
4.0 : Refund Policy
- Your Booking Deposit is nonrefundable with the following exception:
- Your Booking Deposit is refundable if the Event is cancelled by Acquired Taste Events .
- All Refunds are subject to approval by Acquired Taste Events LLC., at their sole discretion.
- Your refund amount (if any) will be equal to the total amount of funds you have paid towards your Booking minus your Booking Deposit and the sum of all Booking Fees incurred by Acquired Taste Events.
- Booking Fees incurred are determined by Acquired Taste Events LLC., at their sole discretion and are comprised of but not limited to all of the following:
- Any Credit Card processing fees incurred by Acquired Taste Events as a result of processing your Booking and payments.
- Any other Credit Card or Bank fees incurred by Acquired Taste Events as a result of processing your Booking and payments.
- Any Credit Card or Bank processing fees incurred by Acquired Taste Events as a result of processing your cancellation and refund.
- Any fees or penalties accessed or imposed by the host resort or any other subcontractor or vendor for Plunge or Acquired Taste Events as a result of your cancellation.
- Cancellations that are entitled to a refund by the terms of our cancellation policy will be processed within 10 business days from approval of the request. This refund may take up to 2 weeks to post to your account depending on the billing cycle of the issuing bank and/or your credit card company.
- If your request is made within 30 days of Booking, the amount (if any) will be refunded back to your credit card.
- For cancellations processed 30 days or more after first payment, the amount (if any) may be refunded back to your credit card or may be refunded via mailed check. Please allow up to 30 days for the check to arrive at your specified address.
5.0 : Guest Conduct Policy
- Engaging in any form of unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior directed at or involving event staff, resort staff, other guests or yourself is grounds for ejection from the Event and Acquired Taste Events LLC. may, at their sole discretion, eject you from the Event for the remainder of the Event and YOU WILL NOT BE ISSUED A REFUND.
- All BDSM play taking place at the event must be Safe, Sane, and Consensual.
- Safe - Play must never cause harm (lasting physical or psychological injury).
- Sane - All participants in any form of BDSM play must be of sufficiently sound/sane mind to consent and all BDSM play must be what a reasonable person would consider sane.
- Consensual - All participants in any form of BDSM play must have given their consent prior to play beginning.
- Engaging in any form of BDSM play that is not safe, sane and consensual is grounds for ejection from the Event and Acquired Taste Events LLC. may, at their sole discretion, eject you from the Event for the remainder of the Event and YOU WILL NOT BE ISSUED A REFUND.
6.0 : Late Payments
- You are required to make your payments on or before the Payment Due Dates you specified when you paid your Booking Deposit, subject to the Payments on Bookings of our Terms and Conditions of Booking.
- If you wish to request a change to one or more of your Payment Due Dates:
- Your request must be made a minimum of seven days before the date your payment is due.
- Each request is subject to approval by Acquired Taste Events LLC, at its sole discretion.
- Please note that any payment that is more than 5 business days past due may result in your Booking being cancelled subject to our Cancellation Policy on Bookings.

7.0 : Modifications to Your Booking
- If you wish to request a change or modification to your Booking:
- Your request must be made a minimum of seven days before the date the Event begins.
- Each request is subject to approval by Acquired Taste Events LLC, at its sole discretion.

7.5 : Personal Information Updates Relevant to Your Booking
- You are responsible for keeping any personal information (relevant to your Booking) current. You may update your information by contacting us at info@plungefetish.com or by calling 678 886 8699 or if you’re calling from outside the U.S. +1 678 886 8699.
8.0 : Non-Arrival at the Event (No-Show)
- If you fail to arrive (No-Show) at our host resort on the arrival date of your Booking, Acquired Taste Events LLC. may , at their sole discretion, cancel the entire Booking and YOU WILL NOT BE ISSUED A REFUND. If circumstances do not permit you to check in on your Booking arrival date but you still intend to attend the Event, please contact us as soon as possible. Failure to communicate delays in travel plans as mentioned above may result in the entire Booking being cancelled and NO REFUND will be issued. 9.0 : Early Check Out
- If your booked stay for the Event is shortened for any reason, YOU WILL NOT BE ISSUED A REFUND.
- To shorten your stay or alter your Booking arrival and departure dates, you must contact us at least 7 days in advance of your Booking arrival date.
- Any modifications or alterations to your Booking are subject to our Cancellation Policy on Bookings and our Refund Policy.
- Please contact us as early as possible to communicate your circumstances and minimize any additional charges.
10.0 : Travel Insurance
- We strongly recommend that all guests traveling outside of their home country purchase travel insurance which includes cancellation/interruption and medical insurance for the following reasons:
- In the event you must cancel or cut your trip short due to a family medical emergency, natural disaster, or vendor bankruptcy.
- To provide coverage for any incident that may occur while you are traveling that requires medical attention. This includes coverage for overseas medical expenses and emergency transportation to a medical facility in your country of residence.
- To provide compensation in the event of lost or stolen baggage.
- To have access to a 24/7-travel assistance program available to help you with travel emergencies.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that you purchase travel insurance.
- It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate travel insurance coverage for your travel needs.
- Plunge and Acquired Taste Events LLC will not be held liable for any incidents that may affect your Event arrangements, caused by negligence on the part of yourself, the resort, an airline or any other third-party supplier that we or you choose to facilitate your travel plans.
11.0 : Passports
- All visitors to the Dominican Republic, traveling on a tourist visa, must have a valid passport that does not expire until AFTER your proposed travel dates end.
- The government of the Dominican Republic also requires that visitors from certain countries obtain a Visa before entering the Dominican Republic. Please visit VisaHQ.com to check and confirm your documentation requirements.
- Plunge and Acquired Taste Events LLC will not be held liable for a traveler’s failure to produce their valid passport as required to immigration authorities or airline employees during their trip. In the event that a failure to obtain or produce your valid passport results in your being unable to travel, your Booking will be subject to our Cancellation Policy on Bookings and a refund will NOT be issued.
