High above Sosúa sits the twisted edifice of a singular artist’s bizarre vision. Rolf Shultz immigrated to the DR from Germany and spent the rest of his life building this five-story castle. It's home to many unusual artworks, including exotic Haitian sculptures, extraterrestrial messages, and at least four spaceships! The castle has no electricity and some of the rooms are dark so flashlights are recommended.
